What are the standards of caution?
The standards of caution are the following:
- The requirement to have regard to interventions: you should have regard to specific interventions made either by BoBo or a competent national authority;
- Prompt reporting requirement: claims must be submitted within 13 months of the fraudulent payment;
- The information sharing: you should respond to any reasonable and proportionate requests for information from BoBo to help assess a reimbursement claim;
- The police reporting: after making a claim, and upon request by BoBo, you should consent to the BoBo reporting to the police on your behalf or provide details directly to a competent national authority.
